Intro to Woodworking

Have you ever wanted to know the difference between a hand saw, a circular saw, and a saw horse? Have you always regretted not taking "shop" in high school? Then this course is for you! During this 21-hour class you will learn how to safely use common hand and power tools, how to select different types of wood based on their uses and properties, how to create basic joints, and how beautifully finish a piece - all while working toward completing a functional project by the end of the course: a musical instrument called a tongue drum!
