Summary
This course is designed to provide the individual with a general knowledge of the operation of biological wastewater treatment systems, knowledge of the laws and regulations related to treating wastewater systems, equipment use/maintenance, and collecting/analyzing samples. Site visits and class hours are needed for this course. Upon completion, the student should be PREPARED for the NC Biological Grade I and II* North Carolina Water Pollution Control System Operator's Certification Commission Exam in December of 2023 (WPCSOCC).
