Effective Teacher Training

This course is designed to educate students about effective teaching practices by way of lecture-discussion and hands-on participation and to provide substitute teachers training in the following areas: standards of professional conduct, management of student behavior, effective classroom instructional strategies, health emergencies and first aid, blood borne pathogens, staff and student relations, and other relevant topics. This course is highly recommended for teaching assistants and potential substitute teachers. All participants must complete the entire training to earn a certificate of completion.
