Enrollment Policy
Only students who have pre-registered for a class may attend a CFCC Continuing Education class. No individual can substitute for a registered student, and non-registered guests are not permitted to attend classes.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy
The Refund Policy is established by the NC General Assembly for all NC community colleges. If any courses are cancelled by CFCC, a full refund will be given. Students do not have to request a refund in this case.
Refund requests and withdrawals must be made in writing by the student (no exceptions). Refund request forms are available by request from the Continuing Education department. A request for refund and withdrawal may be done by letter or email.
- A 100-percent refund shall be made if the student officially withdraws from a course before the first date of the course meeting. A written request must be dated and received by the Continuing Education department, or instructor before the first date of course meeting.
- A 75-percent refund shall be made if the student officially withdraws from a course before, or on the "10-percent date" of scheduled hours.
A written request form must be dated and received by the Continuing Education department, or instructor before or on the "10-percent date" of scheduled hours. Students are responsible for obtaining the "10-percent date" from their instructor on the first course meeting.
