Career Auto Restore & Fabricat

The course is designed to introduce students to proper safety in the automotive restoration workplace environment. Students will learn terminology, selecting metal, basic spot welding processes, describe body/frame construction, measure and gauge equipment and learn how to use auto body tools properly. This course will educate the students about various auto body jobs in the industry with the expectation of inspiring the next generation of auto body repair technicians. Safety will be discussed throughout the entire course. Long pants, long sleeve shirt, boots/tennis shoes will be worn to class daily. Safety glasses, gloves will be provided. Students 12-17 will need to complete a waiver and have a minor permission form signed by parent/guardian.
