Career Public Safety

The course is for 12-17 year old students who would like to explore the various sectors in public safety with a focus on fire/forestry, ems/rescue, law enforcement/dispatch communication and criminal forensics. Students will learn about the types of public safety and what roles and career pathways are supported by this course of study. Subject matter experts will visit the camp daily. Topics include terminology, communication, employment discovery, and students will participate in a mock wreck. Parental consent will be needed.
