Culinary: Basic Knife Skills

Summary

Proper knife skills are important for every chef! Learn how to select, sharpen, and hold your knives, as well as proper techniques for precise cutting to ensure even cooking and beautiful presentation. Most supplies provided (including foods to be cut for take-away with a selected recipe). Students should bring a sharpened chef's knife to class. Students must wear close-toed shoes, pants and an apron. Please cover or tightly pull back your hair. No nail polish or jewelry on hands please.
