Truck Driver Training

This course is designed to teach students to drive tractor-trailers and trucks. The program will prepare the prospective driver to understand safety, driver responsibility, and also the laws and regulations governing the motor carrier industry.

The following documents must be submitted prior to the start of class. We recommend working on these requirements in the order listed below. These documents can be submitted by sending clear copies to [email protected]. They can also be brought in person to the Downtown Campus at 502 N. Front St. or North Campus Admissions Window at 4500 Blue Clay Rd. McKeithan Center NA 100A.

• Copy of Valid Driver's License - License MUST be valid throughout the duration of the course.
  
• Copy of Class A CDL Permit with Tanker Endorsement.
  
• DOT Physical- must include the Medical Certificate page.
  
• Copy of DOT 5 Panel Drug Screen Results  - Cannot be received more than 30 days prior to the start of the class.
  
• Copy of your DMV Non-Certified Driving Record- Cannot be received more than 30 days prior to the start of the class.
