Summary
Through classroom and on-the-water boat operation students will learn many of the skills necessary for safe small boat operation. Students will have an understanding of required safety equipment, Rules of the Road, buoyage, how winds and currents affect boat handling and docking and undocking. Students will perfect their boat handling skills on the Marine Technology's small boats on the Cape Fear River.
