Intermediate Dog Grooming

This course is designed as the second course in the dog grooming program. Students will continue to learn the necessary skills to become an entry-level dog groomer. Coursework includes lecture and hands-on lab. Students will continue to learn and practice a variety of grooming techniques and services. In addition students will gain an understanding of how groomers handle different dog breeds and temperaments. dog anatomy, dog first aid, and dog psychology. During lab hours, students will practice skills and techniques at an area groomer's training facility. Students will become certified in pet CPR and first aid. Students will become certified in the usage of Nexderma products.
