Beg Carpentry & Woodworking

This course is designed to provide an understanding of fundamental carpentry techniques. Participants will learn basic safety procedures; tool identification, use and selection; tool check out/in procedures and basic carpentry mathematics. Other course topics may include techniques for framing walls, partitions, roofs, doors, and windows as well as understanding the basic materials and construction practices to layout and construct foundations and flooring systems. Throughout the course participants are involved in live project construction to give practical application to knowledge learned.
