Foundations of Graphic Design

This course covers the application of visual elements and design principles in advertising and graphic design through lectures, theory, hands-on developmental process, drawing, sketching and some software introduction. Topics include creation of various designs such as logos, advertisements, posters and signage. Upon completion, students should be able to effectively apply design principles and visual elements to projects. Prerequisite: Please visit our website for pre and co-requisite course information. Students will need access to a computer with an Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) subscription for assignments to be completed outside of the classroom.
